The history tells us that.
It is into 1928 that Mr. Émilien Forest construisi his inn to which,
it gave the name "Auberge La Glacière". At that time,
people, used ice to thus preserve food, the first mission of the Inn was,
to sell ice with the population of the walls of Saint-Zénon,
from there comes the name the Auberge La Glacière
Consequently occasion tourism more particularly,
fishermen who commencaîent to tease the different ones
fish species of the area then, they had them also a great need for ice for the conservation of their catches. They proceeded in the following way,
they dug a hole in the ground placed fern there wet then, the ice, and, theirs deposited there
catches by taking care well to cover the whole with fern wet.
Today this place is
always a para say for fishing, the Auberge La Glacière developed much, there is more than 30 rooms available, a big room to eat to arrange
of a water fall with trout basin. The room of reception can accommodate more than 100 people, you there trouverer also a room of billiards and a giant screen.
In 2001 the Auger brothers
already joint owner of the Pourvoirie Trudeau
and of the Domaine Bazinet make the marvellous aquisition of the Inn the Auberge La Glacière, begins important work there
of restoration.
